In a continued effort to regain "divine mojo", I am reading and doing the activities recommended in the book, "The Artist's Way", by Julia Cameron. Her book and classes have helped many artists of varying media regain their creative spirit over the past 20 years according to her book. Fellow bloggers, Danae Sinclair and Jodi Cleghorn, are doing it with me. Would anyone else like to join us?
Here's a link to the book in case you'd like to look at the description or reviews. I think Amazon also lets you preview a chapter or part of a chapter...

Feeling excited and a bit apprehensive about this ... but sure it will be a great way to give the fledgling return to writing a real kick start!
Thanks for being a fellow companion.
yes... I second that!
I do feel good about this after doing my morning pages this evening (!) and discovering that there is quite a lot to write about. I do sometimes fear that I'll never be able to write enough to fill a book...so this is the start of overcoming that fear.
Am greatly enjoying the morning pages and tonight - journalled for the first time in months, well years really as an ongoing thing. I realised that if I downloaded everything at night in the journal, then processed while I slept and then used the morning pages to blow it off, there would be a reasonably sound process going on.
Do you want to being this weekend - or any particular day. I put some info up on my blog about how to create a creative cluster and a little about what the book says, also an online article from Julia's page about creative clusters ... love the sound of it .. sounds as though its drizzled with gorgeous velvety chocolate :)
I hope you ladies enjoy the journey. I did it in 2002, and was a great experience. I, myself, decided to do it alone because of where I was at in my life, so I was expecially pleased when I stuck with it for the whole 12 weeks.
I have thought of doing her next book time and again, but for me, working in textiles, I found the Morning Pages started to interfere, so I haven't yet.
You should also start planning the party you'll have at the end of 12 weeks!! Something to look forward to.
Genial fill someone in on and this mail helped me alot in my college assignement. Thank you seeking your information.
